Breakfast

I used to never really eat breakfast. Maybe a handful of cereal or a sausage biscuit from McDs. But it was too difficult to get up early enough to have time for a real sit-down breakfast.

But I've also had a good deal of problems during the day related to eating, getting hungry often and my blood sugar going out-of-whack.

This past year or so I'd noticed that my problems during the day were greatly lessened or even non-existent when I had a good breakfast.

So we've made it a priority to get up early enough (4:30am!!) so that I can have a full meal before going to work. And the effect it has on my day is really noticeable.

Pictured above is my typical breakfast these days. Two or three eggs, one or two sausages (or bacon as a special treat) and a nice hash-brown.

If you don't have a regular breakfast you really ought to give it a try.

  1. I used to be on and off, mostly off, on eating breakfast, until I did Nutrisystem and learned how awesome breakfast is. Now I never miss it. YUM!
